RESELLER AGENT MEMBERS

I. FOUNDATION FOR RECOVERY AND DISPOSAL COMPLIANCE

The International Electronics Recovery Coalition (IERC) implements and develops sustainable and economically viable electronics recovery programs. Our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 compliant programs respond to newly adopted national e-Steward Standards and directly address the ongoing and serious issues of e-waste and its associated byproducts.

II. DOCUMENTATION OF MATERIAL DISPOSAL

IERC’s membership consists of certified recovery and disposal agents. However, it is completely at the reseller’s discretion to seek out their services. Material disposal documentation will be available to all members to ensure confidence and transparency in the interest of all parties involved.

III. CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS

IERC provides standardized contractual agreements between:

a)   resellers and corporations

b)   resellers and recovery or disposal agents

to help clarify obligations of both parties. Such agreements can be customized to fit the particular needs and concerns of the assignment. IERC’s program documents are based closely on adopted e-Steward Standards and are designed to ensure policy compliance and social responsibility on behalf of the recovery or disposal agent, thereby limiting upstream liability.

IV. ACTIVE CORPORATE SOLICITATION

IERC invites resellers interested in addressing ongoing e-waste issues to become members. These members are provided corporate visibility and opportunities through their association with IERC. Our corporate membership includes a wide array of companies throughout North America.

V. RECOVERY AND DISPOSAL AGENTS

IERC actively seeks new memberships from organizations that have consistently demonstrated commitment to policies over and above established standards. By doing so, we are able to provide resellers with a wide and diverse range of certified recovery and disposal agents best suited to their needs.
