State Media Equipment Recycling Laws

Green ICT recently posted a chart outlining the states which have recycling laws governing consumer media devices excluding televisions. Let’s quickly take a look at the first couple columns of the chart:

Disregarding the specifics of the chart itself, an obvious message emerges: there are only nine states with laws which encompass these extremely common devices. Case in point: there is an obvious need for more diligent regulations pertaining to electronics waste as a whole.
